Across several years both CGI and Logica have needed additional resources in order to cope with the high volume of deals in the pipeline. They recognised that they needed to bring in additional creative resources in order to bid for the business. They also needed specialist skills in design and technology proposal writing to a very high standard to support multi-million pound deals.
Across several years Incognate has supported the sales, marketing and bid activity of both Logica and CGI that have supported multi-million pound deals.
Incognate has regularly provided bid managers with content that delivers a wow factor, but also help to sharpen the copy delivered in proposals. Our support has also led to the delivery of deal based marketing support to help present client propositions in various formats to deliver the results.
We have also gone on to deliver account specific communications specifically around a major government project. And have also been instrumental in defining, developing and delivering a Communication Framework that delivers the right messages, to the right people at the right time and to get the right results.
In 2014 John Bancroft, MD of Incognate, was engaged to carry out an interim management role at CGI’s multi-billion pound bid and proposal centre that supports large bids across public sector and commercial enterprises in the UK.
Following an initial 4 week assessment he delivered a significant transformation programme both in the Proposal Centre, but also engaging and inspiring the Proposal Management Team that support major bids in delivering outstanding winning proposals.
John identified unique skills, supported promotions, drove the development of a framework, underpinned with tools, templates and processes, ToCs and empowered the team. At the same time, creating a culture of openness, positive communication and trust – developing the team to work as one.
